  1. Introduction
    You can use our birefringence measurement system and photoelastic constant measurement system to perform the measurement by yourself. Our staff will support you with the operation and measurement methods.

  2. Available Hours
    • Monday-Friday 10:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00, except national holidays and company holidays.
  3.  Usage fee
    • 30,000 Yen per hour
    • Approximate measurement time
      • For photoelasticity measurement: approx. 1 hour* per sample
        *Varies depending on the shape of the sample.
        *Including the time for attaching and detaching the sample.
        *Measurements are usually repeated seven times, and the mean and deviation are calculated from the data of five times, excluding the maximum and minimum values.
        *If the deviation is large or the measured value is monotonically increasing (decreasing), there may be a problem with the sample mounting.
        *For 5 repetitions, it takes about 45 minutes.
